I think I’ve experienced more fear this year than in any other year of my life, but I’m channeling it into something greater.
Canadian Entrepreneurship
Canadian operating culture and entrepreneurial culture have long been described as distinct. I’ve long held reservations about these cultural environments, particularly regarding the incubation phases.

8 and 80
They say there are only two people you should truly listen to in your life. Not your closest family, not your customers, but yourself at age 8 and 80.
Optimism
Overfitting is not the way to implement optimism. Rather, focus on unbounded positivity.
I like to consider myself an optimist. It feels good, it’s effective in producing useful artifacts, and it makes moral sense.
Two Questions
I want to start asking two questions to gauge my feelings on something: am I working on something useful and rewarding, and am I doing it with people who I love and who love me back?
Tabula Rasa: Upbringing and Molds
My thesis is that a plurality of families bring up children with suppressed personalities that can easily spiral into destructive patterns when faced with certain environmental variables such as stress, profit/money, loss, or loneliness.
